When RPI Australia spoke of Self-Managed Super Funds and explained how they worked and potentially where I will be when I’m nearing retirement, it sounded too good to be true, but the numbers just don’t lie. I couldn’t be happier that I trusted RPI to proceed with setting up my own SMSF. I have moved my superannuation away from big companies that were paying me marginal returns and some years they made a loss.
With the help of RPI, I have just taken ownership of a brand new built 4 bedroom house that I will own well before retirement and potentially the opportunity to grow even more wealth all controlled by how I want to diverse my own superannuation.
I am a sceptic when it comes to talking to people about how I should invest but I recommend everyone talking with RPI Australia about setting up SMSF.

When we decided to go to an information seminar in 2011 on property investment organised by our accountant Lachlan Stevenson we went mainly out of curiosity. We had managed previous investment properties ourselves in close proximity to us and found them over the years quite demanding.
Steve gave a presentation and answered questions that night which made us want to understand more so we asked for an evaluation later. Even though we had 12 months of postponements through family issues the professionalism and compassion by Steve’s team was already evident.
The initial evaluation with Deb McHenry was excellent with her knowledge in this field very evident and gave us confidence around our decision to pursue further. Then when you presented the Portfolio the professional way it was laid out and how you explained why we should go to these areas was very impressive. The quality of the Homes chosen was such an important factor for us as I would not have considered anything that I believed would not hold its value. Then the ability you had to source the best possible financial package through the banking organisations was such a bonus for us.

Every member of your team has that same value and professionalism, which gives us great comfort in the knowledge that you are with us for the long term. We have been able to spend time socially with Steve, Deb and some of the team, his love for his family, his honesty and his down to earth approach to life made it easy for us to become friends.Steve has created a special group of people with values that go beyond business and work, Belinda and I are so happy that we are now part of it.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Steve and his team. We are confident that with the advice and guidance given to us we are on track of realizing our dream of early retirement. The whole process has been seamless.  From the first interview to go through our personal circumstances, coming up with realistic goals and objectives, Steve was able to put a financial plan together to enable us to achieve our dreams. His team ensured that everything was taken care of from identifying suitable investments options, organizing the loan, monitoring the building process and sorting out the tenants, and ongoing health check of our finances.

Rainer and I were very nervous initially about investing, especially going into more debt as we were in our comfort zone.  Having met and dealt with Steve and his team from RPI Australia, we soon realised we had nothing to worry about; the whole process from start to present has been faultless and so easy.
